No Firepits and Restrictions on BBQ's Until Further Notice

EXTRA FIRE PRECAUTIONS : EXTREME FIRE RISK

Due to the extreme dry conditions and high risk of fire we have banned firepits, disposable low standing BBQs of any type and similar, until further notice. This will be in force from Thursday 9th July 2026 until further notice.

This decision has been taken to safeguard grassland and standing crops. Please also take care when extinguishing and disposing of cigarette butts, both on site and when out and about in the countryside.

Please familiarise yourself with the location of the fire extinguishers on site. Gas BBQs may be used with care as long as they are off the ground and totally enclosed to avoid sparks.
