PAYMENTS AND BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS​​
Q- I am trying to make a booking and I cannot make a payment. Is there some other way I can make a booking?
​A - The most common issue with payments online are if the name and address of the booking does not match the payment method, but no problem we are happy to speak in person just give us a call and we'll take the payment over the phone on 01728 668555, or drop us a message through the website "contact us" page and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
​Q - I have tried to make a booking on line but I have not received a booking confirmation email. Has my booking been successful?
​​A- a Provisional Booking will be issued within 10 minutes of the booking, check your spam/junk folders in case your email provider has flagged and dropped it in there, if not in either your inbox or junk folders we are happy to check for you just give us a call and we'll get you sorted out and put your mind at ease. You'll also get a confirmation email once we have confirmed payment and one week before your holiday, or sooner if the booking is made less than a week before arrival, you will receive a welcome email with your booking details, and in the case of a booking for the pod, your keysafe code. Remember - Please check your spam/junk folder and allow emails from noreply@gemapark.co.uk

BOOKINGS
Q- I would like to book more than 2 pitches together. Can I do this?
A- No. We do not accept group bookings. A group booking is where more than 2 pitches aim to be together on site. You will be asked to leave without refund if you make a group booking. There is also a maximum capacity on any one pitch.
Q- I am trying to book a 1 or 2 night stay for Easter/ Late Spring/August Bank holidays. Why am I unable to make the booking?
A- There is a 3 night minimum booking for the main bank holidays. Try to extend your booking search to 3 days and email for late availability/cancellations.

Q- I am trying to book more than 1 pitch for Easter/ Late Spring/August Bank holiday. Why am I unable to make the booking?
A- We do not allow on line bookings for more than 1 pitch together over the bank holiday periods due to high demand.
Q- I am trying to book a 1 night stay in spring half term, July and August. Why am I unable to make the booking?
A- There is a 2 night minimum advance and online booking for the main school holidays. If you wish to make an advance or online booking try to extend your booking search to 2 days. We may have pitches available for 1 night stays closer to the dates you require. Inquire by email or phone for late availability.
Q- I would like a pitch near to the facilities how can I arrange this?
A- When you book online complete the customer comments section to let us know of your requirements and we will try to meet your needs, subject to availability, or contact us with more information.
Q- Does the price of the holiday include VAT?
A- Yes, the listed price includes VAT at the prevailing rate.

Q- Do you have any advise for fire safety on site?
A- Yes we have a number of fire extingushers dotted around the site, these are marked on the site map that you are sent as part of your welcome email. the map also has advises of the fire assembly point at reception or if staying in the pods at the car park adjacent to the pods. the following link also has advise direct from the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service.
FIRE PITS AND BBQS
Q- Do you allow fire pits?
A- We do allow and have firepits for hire, we also stock logs and kindling, We do ask that they be raised of the ground to prevent pitch damage, bricks can be obtained from reception should you need them. We ask that they are never left unattended and disposal of ash is done only when they are cold to prevent risk of fires. Q- Do you allow BBQs?
A- Yes you are most welcome to bring your BBQ's but we do not allow disposable BBQ's. as with fire pits we do ask that your BBQ is raised of the ground to prevent pitch damage, bricks can be obtained from reception should you need them. We ask that they are never left unattended and disposal of coals is done only when they are cold to prevent risk of fires. FISHING
Q- Can I buy a day ticket for fishing?
A- Yes day or Half day tickets within daylight hours can be bought from reception. We do not offer fishing during the winter. For fishing ticket Prices click here

Q- Can I fish at night?
A- There are a limited number of night fishing pitches available during our summer season. They must be pre-booked. These 24 hour tickets run from 2pm to 2pm. For fishing ticket Prices click here
Q- Will you need to see my Environment Agency Licence?
A- Yes. please bring a copy or have a screen shot on your phone, we will need to see this including the date it expires, without it we will not allow you to fish the lakes.

Q- Do you have an accessible fishing platform?
A- Yes, on George's Lake there is a designated concrete based fishing pier, let us know in advance if this is required, we will reserve it for you (subject to availability), getting to the lake is made easy by a dedicated car park area and low gradient ramp/path access.

MOTORHOMES AND EXTRA CARS
Q- I tow a car on an A frame or trailer behind my motorhome. Do I have to pay for an extra car ?
A- If a small car is attached to the motorhome by an A frame or trailer it is included as part of the unit and there is no extra charge. However it is best to advise us that you will be bringing a small extra car or trailer as this could affect the pitch allocation. An additional car that is driven in separately is classed as an extra car and will be charged at the prevailing rate for an additional car. Due to space limitations please do not bring an extra car if you are bringing one as an attachment. Only 2 vehicles per pitch please i.e. motorhome and toad.
Q. My Motorhome is quiet large, so we like to get the bus out and about is that an Option?
A. there is a bus route service that runs from Darsham Village to Aldeburgh and back weekday mornings​ and a service on saturday that does the same but also goes on to Halesworth. There is also an option for a community bus which can be booked on their website and they can pick you up from our reception. For more details pop over to our 'Out and About' page.

SHOP AND RECEPTION OPENING HOURS
Q- What time do you open in the morning to return gate passes and buy fishing tickets?
A- Our reception and shop opening hours are 8:30am to 12-00 and 1pm to 4pm. If you require an earlier check out please advise reception the previous day. Fishing tickets can be purchased at reception on the day you wish to fish, or booked in advance for night fishing.
