2025 SEES YOUR 5TH FIRST LIGHT FESTIVAL TAKING PLACE OVER THE SUMMER SOLSTICE WEEKEND ON LOWESTOFT’S BEAUTIFUL SANDY SOUTH BEACH.
The festival theme ‘From the Seabed to the Sky’ is inspired by our most easterly, coastal location and has a strong focus on the sea: two-thirds of the planet’s surface is covered by salt water but what lies within it is surprisingly mysterious. These mostly unexplored, complex, interlinked systems are the engine of life and crucial to our future, and our 2025 programme explores this incredible resource through new music commissions and visual art, illuminating talks, science, and community activity. At Sundown visit our partner venues for intimate, exquisite music and poetry, and new for this year live music to dance the night away in the East Point Pavilion.
