About the event
Concerts at Cratfield continues its summer season with the internationally acclaimed Barbican Quartet, winners of the prestigious 71st ARD International String Quartet Competition in Germany, the Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition and the Joseph Joachim International Chamber Music Competition.
The Quartet will perform Haydn’s String Quartet in C major, Ligeti’s String Quartet No1, Métamorphoses nocturnes, Rebecca Clarke’s Poem: Adagio for String Quartet, and Mendelssohn’s Quartet No 2 in A minor.
